IFA approved as the Provisional 51st Member of IFF

The International Floorball Federation (IFF) Central Board announced in its recent meeting on the 10th of December 2009, that they have approved the Indonesian Floorball Association (IFA) as its provisional member number 51 of IFF. Belonging to the IFF Family gives IFA the possibility to participate in IFF Event. IFA will also be expected to support IFF and gives advice when it comes to question related to the development of Floorball in Indonesia.

This news is accepted with great enthusiasm by IFA, since this will not only help Floorball development in Indonesia but also helped youth in Indonesia to participate in this new sport, and consequently will help to build characteristic in Indonesia, particularly the young generations.

Floorball itself is already played all around the world, mostly in European (Scandinavian) countries. Its popularity now reached Indonesia and it has potentials to grow among youth due to its safety, easy to play and inexpensive equipments.

The 51 member countries of the IFF are:

Ordinary Members: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Georgia, Great Britain, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Korea Republic, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Malaysia, Netherlands, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland & USA

Provisional Members: Argentina, Armenia, Belarus, Brazil, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ireland, Israel, Moldova, Mongolia, New Zealand, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Sierra Leone, Thailand, Turkey & Ukraine
